The first ever black hole image released - Katie bouman

April 10 2019, A day to remember for all of us, The first ever black hole image released.

The image was caputure by a network of eight linked telescope place in different part of the world Event Horizon Telescope (E H T)

Then about Katie Bouman ( Assistant professor in the CMS department at Caltech)

Surely people has to know more and more about here, Her achievements

She is the one behind the algorithm which leds to the construction of black hole image.

The algorithm named CHIRP ( Continuous High-Resolution Image Reconstruction using Patch priors)

The algorithm she reconstructed , refined the original images to prepare the final historical image of the black hole. CHIRP can also be used for any imaging system that uses radio interferometry.

Reconstructing Video of Time-Varying Sources from Radio Interferometric Measurements" published in IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging paper published in 2018

Interferometric Imaging Directly with Closure Phases and Closure Amplitudes" published in 2018

Visual Dynamics: Stochastic Future Generation via Layered Cross Convolutional Networks publish in 2018

and lot more...

There are many women who are very much talented, My colleague has developed a face recognition algorithm with 98% accuracy on April 10 2019.

Black Hole

Actually we are unaware about the importance of that picture.

The size of the black hole pic is about 7 lakh Giga Byte.

One of the person who knows the importance of this picture, who waited his entire life for such an event is now no more, Stephan Hawkins

So we can conclude in other way, the black hole in that picture exist before 5000 million years, because that much time is need for light to reach our earth, as the light can travel only 3 lakhs kilo meter in a second.
