We must use GPS, internet etc while travelling we cant avoid these apps, as these apps are battery consuming , an alternate power is needed. Either you should buy an additional battery for your phone. No its not an good idea, as the capacity for the battery will be low, you have to switch off and switch on the phone to remove the battery.
